What is Concept Design:
Concept Design is an alternative service from Design 5 seventy-one, which offers clients a do-it-yourself custom-designed space at a reasonable fee. You will be provided with guidance and design ideas on everything from furniture styling, placement/layout, fabrics, accessories, paint colors…..everything you will need to transform your space. It’s the entire package on a budget and done at your own pace.
Who is Concept Design For:
Concept Design is for prospective clients who might not be ready to commit to Design 5 seventy-one’s full range of services. Whether you are on a budget or not ready to make all the suggested changes at once. Concept Design gives you the ability to apply the design at your own pace.
How Concept Design works:
During the design consultation I will personally determine design styling and needs. I will take digital photos and measurements of the room/s to be designed. From there I will create a personalized master design plan. Four weeks after placing a Concept Design order, you will receive, a professionally packaged presentation box containing Design 5 seventy-one’s master plan for the room/s, which includes:
- a personalized design concept board (using color images, magazine tears, sketches, etc.) to be used for design inspiration for the room/s
- a detailed schematic furniture plan, drawn to scale, with specific furniture pieces selected and resourced
- a ring of specific fabric materials, samples of wallpaper and/or paint, flooring, tile, and hardware
- a detailed shopping list of resources - both local and on-line - for all design elements
- a step-by-step explanation of how to pull all the elements of the presentation together
- It’s like shopping with your own personal designer! You are free to follow the parameters as closely or as loosely as you want.
How much will you spend?
Clients decide how many rooms to design, from a powder room to an entire floor of rooms. The fee for instant gratification is based on the average scope of design and size of the room. Living rooms, kitchens, and family rooms generally require more design and therefore cost a bit more.
- hallways, entry-ways, bathrooms: $250
- dining rooms, bedrooms, home offices: $550
- living rooms, kitchens and family rooms: $750
A 10% discount will be given to any client who chooses to use Concept Design for 3 or more rooms at one time.
Satisfaction with your design:
Concept Design presentations are designed to be easy-to-use and self-explanatory. However, I’m happy to offer full assistance with any questions my clients may have regarding their Concept Design plans. I work hard to satisfy every client’s taste. Although there might be a time when a suggestion is not to their liking, I welcome comments and will always try to remedy any client’s issue. Unfortunately, however, once a presentation is completed, I’m unable to re-design a presentation or refund design fees.
